Job Purpose:

The Associate Network Engineer reports directly to the Professional Services Manager. The Associate Network Engineer has basic, broad knowledge in multiple aspects of network architectures and information technology. The Associate Network Engineer will assist Network Engineers with the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support and optimization of all network hardware, software and communication links.

General: Ability to multi-task, prioritize, organize, solve problems, and complete tasks independently or in a team-oriented environment; ability to follow verbal and written instructions, to maintain the confidentiality of data and to accept constructive criticism.

Personal: Excellent written, oral, interpersonal communication skills and customer service orientation; ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language; ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment, both personally and delegated through staff.

Communication: Ability to read, analyze and interpret prints, architectural drawings and financial reports. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively communicate deliverables to an engineering team.

Reasoning: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Mathematical: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Computer: Ability to proficiently use computer software programs and related computer applications, Outlook, Excel and other Microsoft Office applications and other industry-specific technology tools used within the organization. Willingness to learn additional software applications

Pay range 50,000 to 55,000.00
